27 YEARS. THREE PERSPECTIVES.

One industry, seen from every angle.

01THE OPERATOR

Learning logistics from the ground up.

Eight years in international airfreight gave me the foundation everything else is built on: customers, capacity, consolidations, commercial pressure, compliance and the daily reality of getting freight where it needs to be.

Operational complexity isn't theoretical. It has a cost, a deadline and usually somebody waiting for an answer.

02THE TECHNOLOGIST

Discovering what better systems can change.

Moving into Information Management at DSV shifted my perspective from operating the process to improving it. I supported five UK locations, trained teams across Europe and became a bridge between operational users and technology.

That transition shaped how I still think today: successful technology starts with understanding the work.

03THE STRATEGIC ADVISOR

Taking the conversation to enterprise scale.

For more than 17 years at WiseTech Global, I've worked with major logistics organisations on complex technology and transformation decisions — from operational discovery through to C-suite strategy, RFI/RFP programmes and executive demonstrations.

My role is often to make the complicated understandable: connecting business problems, technology capability and commercial outcomes.

WORKING AT ENTERPRISE SCALE

Big organisations.
Complex decisions.
Real consequences.

Enterprise transformation isn't won with a feature list. It requires understanding how a global organisation operates, where friction really sits and how different stakeholders define success.

I've supported strategic engagements with DHL, DSV, Yusen Logistics, Röhlig Logistics and Morrison Express, working from operational teams through to C-suite decision-makers.

SELECTED ENGAGEMENT

DHL

Played a key role in the strategic engagement that secured DHL as a WiseTech customer following the cancellation of its previous SAP-based transformation programme.

A GENUINELY GLOBAL CAREER

Different markets. Different cultures.
Shared logistics challenges.

UK / EUROPEUSAKENYAUAEINDIAJAPAN · KOREA · TAIWANAUSTRALIA

Based in the UK, with repeated customer engagements across the United States, Australia, Kenya, UAE, India, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and throughout Europe.

Working internationally has taught me to separate what is genuinely universal in logistics from what is shaped by local regulation, culture and operating practice.

LEADING EXPERTISE

Leadership centred on capability and judgement.

Alongside my customer-facing role, I provide functional leadership to WiseTech's global Business Development Analyst team.

That means educating, mentoring and coaching specialists; helping navigate difficult engagements; improving consistency; sharing knowledge; and being a senior point of guidance when the answer isn't obvious.

WHERE COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE MEETS AI

Building smarter ways to sell complex technology.

I actively use generative AI and rapid application development to explore new ways of supporting complex enterprise sales and business development.

My focus is practical: using AI to improve discovery, accelerate research, structure customer intelligence, prepare stronger engagements and turn fragmented information into useful commercial insight.

Having spent years inside complex sales cycles, I understand where the friction actually occurs — and where AI can remove repetitive work without replacing the judgement, expertise and human relationships that enterprise selling depends on.

AI should remove friction from expertise — not try to replace it.

HOW I THINK ABOUT TECHNOLOGY

Technology should make complex work simpler, better informed and more productive.

01

Understand first.

The stated requirement isn't always the real problem. Discovery matters.

02

Translate relentlessly.

Operations, technology and executives often speak different languages. Somebody has to connect them.

03

Focus on outcomes.

Technology is valuable when it changes the work or the result.

WHAT COMES NEXT?

27 years in logistics.
Still looking forward.

I've spent my career at the intersection of logistics, technology and commercial strategy — from moving freight to helping global organisations rethink how they operate.

What interests me now is what comes next: the impact of AI, smarter enterprise technology, and new ways of solving some very old logistics problems.

I'm always interested in conversations with people and organisations ambitious enough to challenge how things are done.
